We ask for your personal data to facilitate your registration for this event.

Third Parties that will have access to your personal data

For this event, your personal data will be viewed and processed by GEMS Event Management Australia and AASE as the convenor of the 2020 AASE National Conference. If you are an international delegate, to assist with obtaining a visa to Australia, the passport information for international delegates will be shared with the Australian Department of Home Affairs. If you opt in to having your information shared with Sponsors and Exhibitors, your personal data will be shared to these organisations approximately one week prior to the Conference.

How long will we store your personal data?

As attendees at an event convened by AASE your personal data will be retained indefinitely for purposes of communication for future educational events such as conferences and workshops.

Withdrawal of Consent

During the registration process, you will be asked if you wish to opt in to have your details shared to Sponsors and Exhibitors. If you do not opt in, your information will not be shared to these parties.

Prices are quoted in Australian dollars and are inclusive of 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Accommodation Booking Information
Discounted accommodation rates have been negotiated with the Hilton Adelaide for delegates attending the 2020 AASE National Conference. These rates are only available to conference delegates and bookings MUST be made via the online registration form. Do not contact the hotel directly for these rates. For more information on accommodation, please visit the Conference Website.

Prices are listed in Australian dollars, inclusive of GST, and are per room per night.

If you do not require accommodation, please select "No Accommodation Required".

Should you wish to extend your stay beyond the date range below, or if you require more than one room, please contact the Conference Organiser via email to registration@gemsevents.com.au.

Every effort is made to satisfy accommodation requests, however accommodation is confirmed on a first-come, first-served bases and is subject to availability.

Please note that if you are sharing accommodation, only the person who is paying for the accommodation should make a booking.

Summary
Terms and Conditions
All cancellations must be advised to GEMS Event Management Australia in writing via email before the cancellation can be processed. Cancellations will not be deemed to be received until you have written confirmation from GEMS Event Management Australia. If you have not received acknowledgement within five (5) business days, please contact GEMS Event Management Australia on +61 2 9744 5252. If the cancellation is not received in writing, the registration fees will not be cancelled and full registration will still be payable. Registration Cancellations received in writing by the Conference Organisers by Monday, 27 July, 2020 will be accepted and all fees refunded less an AUD$125 administration fee. Cancellations received after this date cannot be accepted and will not be refunded, however, transfer of your registration to another person is acceptable. The full name, address and emergency contact details of the new delegate must be advised in writing to the Conference Organisers at least 5 days prior to the Conference. Online registration received by GEMS Event Management Australia are considered to be confirmed by the delegate. No tentative bookings will be accepted. No refunds will be made for non-attendance at the Conference and any unpaid registration fees will still be payable. In the case of a medical emergency which has caused a registered delegate to not attend the Conference, the Conference Organiser must be provided with a medical certificate or appropriate documentation before any refund will be considered. Where the Conference Organisers are advised of the situation after the Conference, and a refund is deemed to be appropriate, the delegate must still pay the administration fee, along with any catering charges and collateral expenses (workbook, satchel etc) incurred for all events at which they were scheduled to attend. Accommodation bookings received within 60 days of the booking arrival date must be paid in full before the booking can be confirmed with the hotel. Accommodation cancellations received within 60 days of the arrival date will incur a fee equivalent to 100% of the cancelled accommodation. No refunds will be made for non-attendance and any unpaid accommodation fees will still be payable.

  • Pay on Invoice: An invoice will be sent to the email address supplied with your registration. All invoices are to be paid within 21 days of issuing
  • Credit Card Payment: We accept Visa Card, Mastercard and American Express. All credit card payments will incur the following fees: Visa Card – 0.90%, Mastercard - 0.87%, American Express - 1.9% + 2c transaction fee.
